Join the Journey

Relationships with other Jesus Youth develop into deeper friendships as we journey together in faith.

Here are some ways you can get connected and join us!

Cells

Young people and families come together regularly for prayer and fellowship within the movement. Such progressively growing cells, with 5 to 10 members, ensure ongoing spiritual formation and are an important platform for mutual enrichment and spiritual guidance. The small size of the cells provide the opportunity for a deeper time of sharing and listening.

Household

A committed Jesus Youth is invited to be a member of the local Jesus Youth household. The household is a time of reunion for local JYs to be refreshed and rejuvenated in each other’s presence. Spiritually nourished by a monthly material provided by Jesus Youth, each member has the opportunity to grow in their faith with a loving and encouraging community of like-minded individuals.

Small Groups

These groups evolved as a response to the spiritual needs of families living in urban centres with hectic lifestyles. They are hosted in homes, offices, colleges and other spaces. With a maximum number of around 15 people, the small groups are designed to split and multiply. The Jesus Youth Prayer and Study Materials are key tools in these small group gatherings.

Fulltimer Program

Once a Missioner always a Missioner

The most sought after volunteership program of the movement is an year long formation program for young people from all over the world. It involves a comprehensive 40 day training following which they are commissioned for a one year long formation through a placement and prepared for a lifelong commitment to be the living witnesses of Jesus in a powerful way.

Outreach Child support

A youth initiative of the movement, Outreach Child Support reaches out to support families who find it difficult to afford to provide education to their children. The project is born out of the understanding that Education is vital to bringing about a lasting positive change in children’s lives, empowering and equipping them for a bright future. Currently OCS is actively and regularly supporting over 3100 children in different parts of South Asia.

Nalla Ayalkkaran

This initiative took shape in response to the devastating flood in Kerala, South India. The response involved recruiting and training of volunteers for rehabilitating people, setting up quick response teams besides collecting, sorting and distributing relief materials. The positive response that the group received has led to Nalla Ayalkkaran groups being formed in other parts of the world.
